To update your Instagram username, as well as other profile information associated with your account:
- Go to your profile
- Tap the “Edit Profile” button
- Make changes to your profile
- Tap Done/Submit to save
Make sure your username and descriptions are accurate before changing them, however if you’ve accidentally changed your username, you have a few days to claim it back before other people can take it.
